For SSDs with an NVMe (PCIe) interface, such soldering may cause instability during further data recovery processes.
Until now.With the latest PC‑3000 SSD software update (Ver. 3.9.8, included in the PC‑3000 7.9.9), you can now connect native USB SSDs directly — no soldering, no extra steps.

With this PC‑3000 update, you get support for new drive families, refined recovery algorithms, and new features of the Data Extractor – to extract even more data than before.
Key highlights: expanded support for Maxio SATA controllers (MAS0902, DM918, MAS1102, DM928) as well as extended initialization with ReadRetry for NVMe/USB SM2263XT and SM2320G. The improved MAS1102 support alone can turn previously unsolvable SATA SSDs into success cases.
Additionally, the new initialization for SM2263XT/SM2320G maximizes read quality – even on drives where most sectors were previously flagged with a black status (as BADs).
