The PC-3000 Mobile: the Enhancement of the "Hard Key" Method for the Xiaomi Smartphones |
Our developers continue adding the support of Qualcomm-processor based devices and expanding data access methods to them in the PC-3000 Mobile. The “Hard Key” access method has been added for the Xiaomi Mi 5, Mi 5 Pro and Mi 5 Prime smartphones based on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 MSM899 processor.
To use this method, you need a special cable from the PC-3000 Mobile delivery kit and an additional microUSB - USB Type-C adapter. To switch the smartphone into the EDL mode, connect the mentioned cable with the held button. Then you need to switch on the PC-3000 Mobile Software and to follow the steps described in the Xiaomi Utility.
The “Hard Key” method for Xiaomi Mi5, Mi5 Pro and Mi5 Prime will be available in the nearest PC-3000 Mobile Software Update. The PC-3000 Mobile users having a task with such smartphones can get a Beta Version of the future update to test the new capabilities already now.
