The following English, Japanese and Chinese software update for PC-3000 is released today:

• PC-3000 SAS Ver. 6.4.14

LIST OF ENHANCEMENTS:

For all utilities:

• The Power-on hours and Accumulated start-stop cycles indications in Log Sense have been added;
• The ID detection option for the drives connected via third-party SAS/SCSI controllers has been enhanced;
• Improvements and bug fixes.

Universal utility:

• The "Utility parameters" functionality with "response to HDD error and time-out" parameters for Universal utility tests has been added;
• The defect hiding into G-list based on test results in the Complex test has been added;
• The defect hiding into G-list for drives with capacity 2 TB and more has been enhanced;
• The Complex test algorithm of two and more passes has been improved;
• Improvements and bug fixes.

Seagate:

• The "Download microcode" functionality has been added;
• The head map detection option for some FW versions has been enhanced.

HGST:

• The G-list clearing and defect hiding into G-list have been added;
• The defect transfer from G-list to P-list has been added;
• The unlocking procedure for "Medium Format Corrupted" error has been added;
• The reset procedure for the Power-on hours and Accumulated start-stop cycles parameters has been added;
• The "Download microcode" functionality has been added;
• The physical reading procedure for some families has been enhanced;
• Improvements and bug fixes.
