The event has highlighted the most important points and common mistakes that people should keep in mind when opening the data recovery lab.   • November 05, 2020 ACE Lab Organised a Free Webinar for Data Recovery Engineers and Digital Forensics Experts in France

    Last week ACE Lab conducted a free online webinar together with our partner in France – TRACIP SAS. This time we dedicated our presentation to TRIM on SSDs and modern Western Digital SMR HDDs. The attendees of the webinar found out how to solve the TRIM issue on SSDs and learned some tips on how to get partial content from SMR HDDs that have this command.

    By popular demand, we have added the PCIe AHCI SSDs to the Support List with the BETA ver. 6.8.2 of the PC-3000 Portable III software. To deal with this type of storage media, you additionally need the new PCIe NVMe/AHCI Adapter for Apple Macbook SSD and PCIe x16 SSD Adapter.

    This solution has significantly increased the number of supported PCIe SSDs, especially Apple Macbook SSDs. If previously we only had 2017-2019 devices in the Supported List, now the manufacture dates of supported Apple Macbook SSDs start from 2013! Please follow the link below to learn more about it.

  • September 16, 2020 The New PCIe x16 SSD Adapter Is Now Available for Order!

    We are glad to announce that the new PCIe x16 SSD Adapter for custom and native NVMe SSDs with PCIe x1-x16 interface is now available for order!

    The new adapter is extremely useful for the work with the drives that have a full-size PCIe bus as the only option to plug an SSD (e.g. Intel DC P4618, Samsung PM1733). You may come upon such drives in server platforms and data centers, because they are very stable and powerful. However, the bad sectors can still appear due to prolonged use. In this case, the new PCIe x16 SSD Adapter paired with the PC-3000 Portable III helps to bypass bad sectors and get data from an SSD.
