The New PC-3000 Software Version is Available! |
At the ACE Lab Webinar on the Modern Challenges in Data Recovery & Digital Forensics, our technical engineers showed the features available with the PC-3000 Version 7.0.x., for example, TLER (time-limited error recovery) for WD HDD, the Data Extractor error-processing scenario, and the support of new NVMe drives based on Marvell 88SS1093 controller.
Now you can download the new version of the English, Chinese, Japanese, and Korean software:
- PC-3000 Portable II-III/Express/UDMA-E software Ver. 7.0.25
- PC-3000 SAS software Ver. 7.0.25
- Data Extractor / Data Extractor RAID Edition software Ver. 6.0.12
- PC-3000 SSD/SSD Extended software Ver. 3.0.3
The development of this version required significant reworking of the program code. In the new version, we switched to the new software development kit (SDK). The main purpose of this transition is the release of the 64-bit version. In addition, the use of a new modern development environment opens up additional opportunities for using software development technologies and allows to add new features to PC-3000 & DE more quickly and efficiently.
With the 64-bit platform, we could remove existing restrictions on the use of computer resources and speed up the work of the software.
At the moment, we continue to release the 32-bit software update. The _x64 and _x86 distributions are available for downloading and installation. We recommend installing the _x64 version on Windows 10 OS.
As usual, you will be able to get the activation either using the automatic process or manually, using one of the following European activation servers:

Setting TLER is an alternative to reading a disk with a low timeout value. However, in this case, when reading unstable LBA or BAD-LBA, a UNC error occurs, and additional issues might appear. Reading bad sectors in a classic way may cause physical drive surface damages. With the TLER function, reading BAD sectors becomes stable, fast, and safe for the drive condition.
