The new PC-3000 Flash software Ver. 7.3.7. is released!

The following English, Japanese, Korean and Chinese software update is released:

  • PC-3000 Flash software Ver. 7.3.7.

All authorized technical support users will get the latest software versions.

Please contact us to learn more on how to become an authorized technical support user and receive all of the recent PC-3000 Software Updates:

A SHORT LIST OF THE MAIN ENHANCEMENTS:

  • Added resources of the complex ECC codes:
  • Added the ability to put files with build errors or with ECC errors in a separate directory when saving files from folder structure.
  • Added new Translator algorithm method “SanDisk 8 sec” which allows to significantly improve the resulting quality of recovery from UFD / SD / microSD cards based on SanDisk technology. It allows you to bypass the limitations of the classic Block Number:
    • Assemble images with the capacity of more than 32-64GB;
    • Use data from SLC cache;
    • Get complete folder structure including updates;
    • Recover video files from build translator image.

    This algorithm can reliably be used only in cases which require 8 sector size block building. In future updates more SanDisk CPU FW modifications will be added (MLC-memory cases, old cases with different SA location, etc).

  • Added new Translator Algorithm for SM2704 controllers
  • Added new Translator Algorithm for PS8036 controllers
  • Added visual method for constructing the virtual image based on the file system, which allows you to manually select the most suitable candidates from the list of blocks. This image assembling algorithm might be very useful in cases when a translator is not available and SA area doesn't contain a marker for Block Number image building (modern SSS669x cases for example).
  • Added new rereading algorithms:
    • Sandisk MLC Ver 1
    • Sandisk MLC Ver 2
    • Sandisk MLC 15nm

DETAILED LIST OF ENHANCEMENTS

  • Added resources of the following complex ECC codes:
    • 1120BB_SD
    • 1128BB_SD
    • 44_SK
    • 1158_PS
    • 1152_PS
    • 1134_SM3259
    • 31_SM3259
    • 8_5
    • 32_x
    • 548_x
    • 538_x
    • 525_x
    • 1098_ATJ3315
    • 1088_ATJ3315
    • 1068_ATJ3315
    • 1110_AU
    • 600_SM
    • 52_SM
    • SM_1090
    • SM_1122
    • 538_sk
    • 542_sk
    • 2140_idx
    • 48_sm
  • Added the ability to (append) add service ranges to 4th and 8th sectors in the “Designer page” mode. The menu item becomes active depending on the number of selected ranges. Used for SanDisk cases with 14bytes SA ranges, where 14 bytes SA have to be added for every quad group of sectors in the same range.

  • Added statistics output to evaluate the effectiveness of the operation in “Re-reading” mode.
  • Added the ability to put files with build errors or with ECC errors in a separate directory when saving files from folder structure.
  • Added the ability to set a user comment on “Transformation Graph” & “Analysis Result” nodes.

  • Added new preparation method “Masking pages with ECC errors”. New method allows you to exclude (fill with virtual FF byte) pages with ECC errors from further analysis. This allows you to exclude pages that contain service or irrelevant data and interfere with the construction of the image.
  • Added the ability to determine and adjust the ECC, requiring the operation of bitwise separation.
  • Added support for the read command of the chip ID with the prefix 0x65, necessary in some cases for monolithic drives.

  • Added new Translator algorithm method “SanDisk 8 sec” which allows to significantly improve the resulting quality of recovery from UFD / SD / microSD cards based on SanDisk technology. It allows you to bypass the limitations of the classic Block Number:
    • Assemble images with the capacity of more than 32-64GB;
    • Use data from SLC cache;
    • Get complete folder structure including updates;
    • Recover video files from build translator image.

This image assembling algorithm might be very useful in cases when a translator is not available and SA area doesn't contain a marker for Block Number image building (modern SSS669x cases for example).

  • Added new implementation of “version selection” mode for the built image.
  • Added the ability to work with alternative cards.
  • Added new rereading algorithms
    • Sandisk MLC Ver 1
    • Sandisk MLC Ver 2
    • Sandisk MLC 15nm
  • Now it is possible to set the voltage for each circuit (Vcc, VccQ) independently for PC-3000 Flash Card Adapter.
  • Now it is possible to set the voltage for each circuit (Vcc, VccQ) independently for PC-3000 Flash BGA-152 Adapter.
  • Added support for 4K sectors.
  • Added an indicator button “Adapter Settings” on the toolbar of the software.

  • The button becomes active if the task is created or opened using the adapter, and stays inactive if the use of the hardware capabilities is canceled. Pressing the button opens the parameter window for the current adapter.
  • A huge improvements in stability, bug fixes and software modules.
