PC USB Terminal 3 is available now! |
The PC USB Terminal 3 is made to help with drives repair and data recovery from up-to-date Seagate F3 drives (Bacall, Crawford, Rosewood families, etc.). It also provides an opportunity to work with the latest SSDs such as SanDisk and Crucial. The amount of the drives which require this adapter is only expected to grow in the nearest future.
So, it’s time to get it!
With the PC USB Terminal 3 adapter you will be able to:
- complete a lot of tasks much faster with both standard COM data exchange rates and increased ones (up to 6 Mbit/s and more): upload the Loader, read/write the ROM, transfer the system files of Service Area and/or overlays, etc.
- exclude the failures when dealing with present-day drives thanks to the capability of setting up the transfer voltage: 3.3V, 2.5V or 1.8V
- switch the transfer speed and voltage automatically with a software command from a specialized utility during the HDD family selection - the Adapter is software controlled*
*The transfer voltage can be changed manually as well with a jumper on the adapter board. To switch the transfer speed and voltage automatically with a software command from a specialized utility during the HDD family selection the PC-3000 software Ver. 6.4 is required.

Please note, that jumpers are not included in the PC USB Terminal 3 adapter kit. You may use any of the 2mm jumpers that you’ve already had in your lab.
