Upgrade program for PC-3000 UDMA and PC-3000 SCSI (on the PCI bus)
All users of the green-colored PC-3000 for Windows UDMA and PC-3000 for SCSI (on the PCI buses) can upgrade their systems to the new PC-3000 UDMA-E and PC-3000 SAS correspondingly according to the upgrade program with 50% discount from the cost of the new systems. Upgrade means the exchange of the old board to the new board starting from the 15thof April, 2014.
The PC-3000 UDMA (PCI-E) Upgrade consists of the new PC-3000 UDMA (PCI-E) board, power cables and SATA interface cables.
The PC-3000 SAS (PCI-E) Upgrade consists of the new PC-3000 SAS (PCI-E) board, power cables and SAS interface cables.
Conditions of supporting the previous-generation tools
PC-3000 for Windows UDMA: The technical support including software updates will be provided both for the old UDMA and the new UDMA-E. Since the 1st of January, 2016 the software updates will be provided for the PC-3000 UDMA-E only. After this date the old PC-3000 UDMA will be still usable. Activation, forum access and technical consultations (if necessary) will be still available.
The price for the technical support remains the same both for the PC-3000 UDMA and the PC-3000 UDMA-E.
If you have a valid TS period for your PC-3000 UDMA and you buy the hardware upgrade from the PC-3000 UDMA to the PC-3000 UDMA-E, your TS period remains valid plus one month of free technical support is added to your TS period.
PC-3000 for SCSI: Due to the great difference in the hardware and the united kernel of the PC-3000, it is technically impossible to release the new software versions for the old PC-3000 SCSI. The old PC-3000 SCSI will still be usable. Activation, forum access and technical consultations (if necessary) will be still available.
If you have a valid technical support period for the PC-3000 SCSI and you upgrade your PC-3000 SCSI to the new PC-3000 SAS, your TS period remains valid for the new PC-3000 SAS instead of the PC-3000 for SCSI plus one more additional free month of technical support is added. If you do not plan to upgrade your PC-3000 SCSI to the PC-3000 SAS but you have a valid technical support contract for the PC-3000 SCSI, we will offer the special benefits for your technical support.

Conditions of getting the Hardware Upgrades
To upgrade your hardware, please feel free to contact your personal sales representative or sales@acelab.ru . Please provide the number of your old PC-3000 UDMA (PCI) or PC-KEY of the PC-3000 for SCSI and indicate if it has Data Extractor.
You will receive the new board with the blocked activation.
You do not need to send us back the card to avoid extra costs and customs issues for you. The condition of the upgrade is the video where is it clearly seen that your old board was damaged (protection board is drilled through or broken). After we receive this video file, the new board will be re-registered and its activation unblocked.
Please note that the hardware upgrade program is valid only for exchanging the PC-3000 UDMA (PCI) to the PC-3000 UDMA (PCI-E) and is not valid for the PC-3000 Express and PC-3000 Portable hardware platforms.
